- Choose two or three clinics. Check who assesses you, their qualifications and whether they can see someone living where you live.
- Ask whether you can self-refer. Get the full assessment, written-report and follow-up prices before paying. Ask separately about prescribing if that matters to you.
- Check what records they need, what happens if ADHD is not diagnosed, and who will accept their report for your purpose.
- Bring your own examples and questions. The clinic may ask for its own forms as well as your notes.
