How we handle your data

Who we are

ADHD Mind (adhdmind.ie) is operated by Revival Point Ltd, an Irish company (CRO 654924) with its registered office at Fairlands, Ballinacurra Road, Limerick, Ireland, trading as ADHD Mind, a Revival Mind service. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact us any time at hello@adhdmind.ie or on 061 424765 (+353 61 424765 from outside Ireland).

The rest of the site is written in the first person, because one person writes it. On this page and in the terms it is “we”, because the company rather than the person is the legal entity responsible for your data.

The short, honest version

While you take the assessment, your answers live only on your own device. If you buy a report, your answers are sent to us once, processed to generate your report, and then your individual answers are deleted. We keep only your scale totals and the report itself, and both are deleted 30 days after purchase. We never sell data, we use no tracking cookies, and nobody reads your answers.

What we collect, why, and on what legal basis

  • Assessment answers (including the optional personal questions): these relate to your health, which is special category data under the GDPR. We process them only with your explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a)), given by the checkbox before the assessment starts, and only to generate your report. Until you purchase, they exist only in your browser and are not sent to us. After your report is generated, your individual answers are deleted; we retain scale totals and bands inside your report record for as long as the report exists.
  • Informant contributions (Premium): if you invite someone, the words they type are used once to generate the appendix document and are not otherwise stored. They are told, before they write anything, that you will read every word.
  • Order details (name, email, product, payment status): processed to perform our contract with you (Article 6(1)(b)). If you start a checkout and do not finish it, we may send you one email about that unfinished order and no more, on the basis of our legitimate interest in completing a purchase you began (Article 6(1)(f)); reply and we will not contact you again. Payment card details go directly to Stripe; we never see them. Basic order records are retained for up to six years as required by Irish tax law, but never the content of your answers or reports.
  • Email addresses for our list: with your consent, to send your result, a link back to an assessment you saved, resources you request, and (only if you tick the separate optional box) occasional ADHD Mind emails. We store your email and the fact that you took the screening, never your individual answers, which are deleted once any report is created. Reply “unsubscribe” to any email and we stop immediately.
  • Technical data: our analytics are cookie-free and aggregate (pages viewed, country, device type); they cannot identify you. We also keep anonymous daily counters (for example, how many people finished the free check that day): a bare number per day, with no identifiers and no link to any person or answers. Standard server logs exist briefly for security.

Retention, in plain numbers

  • Individual assessment answers: deleted at report generation, or after 2 days if a checkout is abandoned.
  • Reports, appendices, scale totals, download links: deleted 30 days after purchase.
  • Informant invite links: expire and are deleted on the same 30-day schedule.
  • Order records (no health content): up to 6 years, for tax and accounting law.
  • Email list entries: until you unsubscribe.

Who processes data for us

We use a small number of service providers, each bound by data processing agreements: Supabase (database hosting, EU, Frankfurt), Vercel (website hosting and cookie-free analytics), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery, EU region) and Cloudflare (network and DNS). Where a provider involves transfers outside the EEA, they rely on recognised safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses. We never sell or share your data for advertising.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict it, or hand it over in a portable form, and you can withdraw consent at any time, all by emailing hello@adhdmind.ie. We answer within a month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie), though we would appreciate the chance to fix it first.

Security and age

Data is encrypted in transit, stored with access controls in the EU, and report downloads use unguessable single-purpose links that expire. The service is for adults aged 18 and over; we do not knowingly process children's data.

Changes

If we change this policy, the new version appears here with a new effective date, and material changes will be flagged on the site. Effective date: 21 July 2026.
