Understanding ADHD Assessment for Adults
1. The patient/ carer/ family member will be provided with a few questionnaires to be filled in prior to the assessment along with physical measurements including resting blood pressure, pulse rate, height, and weight. The patient will also be requested to provide some information around their physical health on a health screening questionnaire.
2. Upon receipt of the filled in questionnaires, it will be reviewed by a psychiatrist and a 60-minute virtual remote video consultation will be provided for a discussion around the questionnaires.
3. Subsequently, a 90-minute remote video consultation would be provided by a Consultant Psychiatrist for a clinical assessment of Adult ASD. The session would encompass clinical assessment and diagnostic formulation.
